Ashford Wool Drum Carder - Make your own custom spinning fiber blends!

Make your own custom fiber blends with this drum carder from Ashford.  The Ashford Hand Cards are great but when you need to blend large amounts of fiber more efficiently this carder does just the trick. The Drum Carder cards and blends fibers for spinning, felting much faster than handcards and with less work. The drum on the carder holds 50gms (2 oz) of fibre. When the fibre is lifted from the carder you will have a "batt" of fibre ready for felting or ready to tear into strips for spinning. The batt measure 53cm x 19cm (22 x 7.5 inches)

Use 72 point for fine fleeces and 36 point for stronger fleece types.
