The daughter of a friend is extremely sensitive to all kinds of things and I was curious if I could make a wool item she could tolerate. I enjoyed spinning this lovely fiber and then knit The Age of Brass and Steam scarf for her, washing it in a bit of the shampoo she uses for her hair. She loves it and hasn't had a bit of trouble wearing it. I'll try some food dyes on the remaining yarn soon and she if she can tolerate that too.

Even though my stash includes merino, cormo, BFL and other soft fibers, this is the one I turn to most often because of it's beautiful loft, which enhances it's already soft hand. I love this stuff. I would recommend this to anyone desiring soft fiber that takes a more true color b/c of it's whiteness with no hesitation.

This is a wonderfully soft, beautifully prepared fiber that spins like a dream. I normally spin thin but I was able to spin this bulky. I plan on making a sweater/jacket out of it, so it will be a while before pictures will be available.

Surprisingly soft |

This fiber was purchased in the spirit of "Why not?" because of the enthusiasm surrounding its return to availability.
I initially thought that it would be scratchy because the fibers are not as fine as what I usually use. It was a pleasant surprise to find that it made a lovely lofty worsted-weight yarn with plenty of memory. The undyed fiber is a soft white which took dye well. The finished yarn is soft and a pleasure to work with.
This would be a wonderful fiber for any skill level to relax and spin a soft, lofty yarn. This
