While I haven't purchased this precise set, I use Brittany DPNs almost exclusively, even while knitting flat. I love the feel, size, and looks. I'm 27, but have been knitting for several years, and my wrists and hands let me know about it :). Holding these wonderful birch needles makes my hands happy, and they (and their 5" cousins) are short enough that when knitting flat, I don't have to wrench my wrists around in an unnatural fashion. You will love these needles!
