Wow. I ordered 3 lbs with the intention of dyeing it to spin yarn for socks. Yesterday I dyed 8 oz as an experiment and was very pleased with the way it took the dye. I used a lingere to handle the wet fiber for the presoak and the after rinse and used my new countertop spin dryer to get the water out. When the fiber dried, it expanded to more than double it's original size. Very lofty and poofy. Gorgeous and not a problem to handle the slippery fibers when using the lingere bag.
