Althuogh I own many sets of metal and plastic knitting needles, I have come to love these bamboo needles very much. Lightweight, I never seem to have a problem with stitches slipping off these needles. I also love the shorter 6" length for the small items I knit. And Paradise Fibers is a great company with personalized service and lightening fast coast-to-coast shipping!

I generally use Brittany birch DPNs, but inherited a set of these in a size I didn't have in the Brittanys. I do like them for the same reasons I like the Brittanys: a warm feel, more give than metal, and much more comofrtable in my hands. However, they are too polished and slippery for my tastes, and I often accidentally slipped a stitch off before I intended to. Otherwise, they're great!

I use these in size 1 and find that they are sturdier than wood needles. I thought it was nice to have 5 needles to a set in case I break one, but it hasn't happened yet! They are smooth to knit with and have a nice point, making it easy to pick stitches. Highly recommend these!
