Description   These thick, unisex slipper socks are perfect for padding around the house on chilly mornings. Wear them over ordinary socks or alone. They are quick and simple to knit and make great gifts. Design by Evelyn A. Clark Sizes: Six sizes. Two for small children worked in single strand yarn and four pre-teen to adult sizes worked in double strand. Finished Foot Circumferences: Choose size by the circumference desired, then knit length to fit foot. Children's small 5" (14cm); medium 6" (16.5cm). Pre-Teen to Adult's sm 7" (19cm) ; med 8" (22.5cm); lg 9" (24cm); x-lg 10" (27cm). Materials: Worsted weight yarn is used single strand for children's sizes and double strand for the pre-teen and adult sizes. Yardage will vary with length of sock. Children's sizes: 2-color socks require approximately 50 (70) yards of each color. For solid color socks, double this amount. Pre-Teen/Adult sizes: 2-color socks, approximately 150 (190, 220, 250) yards of each color. For solid color socks, double this amount. Novelty yarn in cuffs was held with one strand of wool. Suggested Naturally Yarns: 10ply Alpine, Naturelle, or any of our 10ply (worsted wt) yarns.   Related Products...
