Baseball cap in infant and children's sizes.

Sizes: Sm (3-6 months), Med (6-18 months), Lg (2-4 years).
Fits head size up to 17" (19," 21") (43 (48, 53) cm).
Note: Ages given are only guidelines. To insure proper fit, measure the child's head before choosing a size. Remember that head size does not always correspond to body size.
Yarn Requirements: Worsted weight yarn.
Total yardage: 110 (130, 155) yds (101 (119, 142) meters).
For a 2-color cap as shown, about 50 (55, 65) yds (46 (50, 59) meters) of contrast for visor and band, and 60 (75, 90) yds (55 (69, 82) meters) main color for crown.
Needles:
US size 7 (4.5mm) in a 16" (40cm) circular and a set of double pointed needles in the same size.
Change needle size as needed to obtain gauge.
Note: If preferred, cap may be knit on straight needles with a center back seam. Work visor and band as written, then purl all WS rows of crown section.
Gauge: With a single strand of yarn in stockinette stitch: 18 sts = 4" (10cm).
