To fit head size up to 17" (19," 21") (43 (48, 53) cm). Ages given are only guidelines. To insure proper fit, measure the child's head before choosing size. Remember that head size does not always correspond to body size. Yarn Requirements: Worsted weight yarn. Main color: 80 (95, 115) yds (73 (87, 105) meters). Contrast for visor, band and flower: 70 (80, 90) yds (64 (73, 82) meters). Needles: 16" (40cm) circular and a set of double pointed needles in US size 7 (4.5mm), or size needed to obtain gauge. Gauge: With a single strand of yarn in stockinette stitch: 18 sts = 4" (10cm).
