Description   Cute as a bug hat, purse and drawstring bag pattern. Shown in cotton, knit firmly at 6 sts to 1". Design by Lisa Carnahan Sizes: Hat: Small, Medium & Large. To fit a head sizes 19" (21", 23") (48 (53, 58) cm). Purse: 7" by 8" (18 by 20 cm). Drawstring bag 7" by 6" (18 by 15 cm). Yarn Requirements: Use a yarn that will knit firmly at 6 sts to 1" (2.5cm). Hat: 50 (50, 50) yds (47m) of red and 100 (110, 120) yds (91 (101, 110) meters) of black. A small amount of white for eyes. Drawstring Bag: 100 yds (91m) of red and 85 yds (78m) of black. Purse: 40 yds (37m) of red and 195 yds (178m) of black. Needles: Hat: US size 4 (3.5mm) and 5 (3.75mm) 16" (40cm) circulars and a set of size 3 (3.25mm) dp needles. Drawstring bag: The same needles as for hat plus a set of size 5 (3.75mm) dp needles. Purse: US size 5 (3.75mm) straight needles and a set of size 3 (3.25mm) dp needles. Change needle size as needed to obtain gauge. Gauge: 24 sts = 4" (10cm) in stockinette on larger needles.   Related Products...
