Jacket is designed to fall at high hip (top of hip bone). To find your ideal length, measure from top of shoulder to top of hip bone and adjust pattern length accordingly. Keep in mind that adding length will require more yarn.
Yarn Requirements: 680 (745, 830, 910) yds (622 (681, 759, 832) meters) of super bulky weight yarn that will knit to the gauge given below. Another option is to combine 2 worsted weight yarns such as a mohair and wool. For this you will need the above amount of each yarn. The possibilities are endless when it comes to choosing a yarn, or combination of yarns, to create your own unique look to fit any season.
Needles: US sizes 10.5 and 11 (6.5 & 8 mm).
Gauge: 11 sts and 16 rows = 4" (10cm) on larger needles in stockinette stitch. |
