Description   Instructions for three easy-to-knit versions in multiple gauges. Simple shaping creates a neck-hugging scarf with ties long enough to drape, knot or pin in front. Large enough to warm neck and shoulders, but easily tucked into a briefcase or knitting bag. Styles adapt to a variety of fibers to accessorize holiday, business or casual wear. A fun way to experiment with interesting yarns. Design by Evelyn A. Clark Average finished measurements: 12" (30.5cm) deep, and 28" (71cm) along sides. Yarns, Needles & Gauges: Instructions are written for four yarn weights. All gauges are in garter stitch. Fingering (sock wt): 280 yds (256m). US size 6 (4mm) needle for a gauge of 20 sts to 4" (10cm). Sport weight: 250 yds (229m). US size 7 (4.5mm) needle for a gauge of 18 sts to 4" (10cm). DK weight: 220 yds (201m). US size 8 (5mm) needle for a gauge of 16 sts to 4" (10cm). Worsted weight: 190 yds (174m). US size 10 (6mm) needle for a gauge of 14 sts to 4" (10cm). Suggested Naturally Yarns: Haven or Stella (fingering wt) or for heavier scarves any of our 8ply (DK) or 10ply (worsted) weight yarns.   Related Products...
