After going nuts, because the Louet was back ordered....I made a quick decision to get the Lendrum. Best wheel ever! I was spinning immediately. I had no prior experience, save for Youtube Videos, and Maggie Casey's Start Spinning book. It's simple to use, and beautifully designed. I love the movable clip on the flyer. I now make killer art yarns, the wheel is a dream. One word of advice, if you want to spun funky chunky yarns, order extra plying bobbins! You'll be using them in short order to ply your bulky thick/thins. Love love love it! I'd give it 6 stars if I could.

Iam new to spinning.I bought my first wheel not long ago and for whatever reason that one didnt agree with me.I spent some time spinning on different wheels and as soon as i spun on the lendrum i was hooked...or spun. This is a great beginner wheel with the way it sits and how easy it is to use.I can't imagine ever needing to upgrade to another wheel the complete package has everything iam ever going to need.I can spin jumbo, fine and regular yarn on this and the tensioned lazy kate is great.i cant speak highly enough for this wheel.Whenever im not spinning with it im thinking about spinning. If your going to buy a wheel you might as well get one that is going to grow with you and the lendrum is that wheel for me.

This is my first spinning wheel - I bought the Double Treadle with the deluxe kit. Since I'm a beginner I didn't know if I'd ever use the fast flyer, but within 6 weeks I needed it for sock yarn so I was glad I got the whole package. I had never spun before, had never even TRIED spinning. With the help of a video, a couple of books, and practice, I had enough yarn to make two sweaters my first month of spinning. This wheel is smooth, almost noiseless, straightforward, pretty to look at, and the accessories will not break the bank (I have 8 bobbins). It is heavy enough to be sturdy and light enough to lift one-handed. I love it! I couldn't be happier with this wheel.

This is my first wheel (I have the DT Complete) and I could not be happier. I'm very impressed with the quality of it, the wood is beautiful and it is very well constructed. It spins like a charm, is very simple to fold up and assemble, and the lazy kate it comes with is tensioned and works better than any other I've used. I can't say enough about it!

This is my first spinning wheel and I love it. It folds up perfectly and even fits in my suitcase when I travel! I've had no trouble teaching myself to use it and have spun bulky novelty yarns as well as laceweight. Also, bobbins are relatively inexpensive!
