For workshops, teaching the new weaver, or samples, the “Klik” is unparalleled in the industry. It is a compact 40 cm (16”) wide, economical, and expandable table loom.
You can start with four harnesses and keep adding harnesses by fours all the way up to sixteen.
The harnesses are raised by lifting the handles at the sides until the little spring legs click out. Or should we say “klik” out? The harnesses fall back into place when the spring legs are pushed back in.
The handles have been made alternating; long and short, dark and light colored, to make visual distinction between the harnesses easy. There are also stickers supplied with the loom, which can be used to number the harnesses.
The swinging beater is attached with U-shaped steel brackets to the frame, ensuring a parallel beating motion. It holds standard size reeds.
The “Klik” comes complete with four harnesses, 200 texsolv heddles, stainless steel reed 40-10 (10 e.p.i.), 2 flat shuttles, 16 warp sticks, 2 tie-up sticks, 2 lease sticks and instructions.
Additional harness are sold in sets of four. The “Klik” is made of lacquered beech and comes as a kit.
