Good affordable wool fiber |

This grey wool is lovely to look at and was fairly easy for this advanced beginner to spin. I found it scratchier than some wools, so I wouldn't choose it for a "next-to-skin" item, but will use it for other things. The price is very good and I dyed some various shades of burgundy and blue over the grey, which turned out very pretty. My first order from Paradise Fibers and I was most pleased with the service, products and speed of delivery.

The fibers/hairs are SO long, it's not uncommon to have some over 8.25 in (20.5 cm) long! It has made some wonderful doll hair. Also great for needle felting. I haven't tried wet felting yet.
