I like the swift...never used one before and it was relatively simple to use. I like the protability as I take my knitting everywhere and this takes very little room. Like better than the umbrella types that I've seen at the knitting shop.

I really like this swift. It comes with a carry bag, which is always nice for products that come in multiple pieces. The swift adds tension to the yarn naturally and stops when you stop winding. I love that it's made of wood.

Just what I was looking for. I've gotten by without a swift for years, but now that I've added weaving to go along with knitting and spinning, I realize that a good swift will save me time with all three hobbies. I don't know why I waited so long, but I'm glad I did some research before deciding to buy. This one can even be used as a skeiner!

If I'm ever stuck on a deserted island; I want to be stuck with this guy! We are so lucky to have him on the wooly side. Very clever design, from the adjustable tension to the superfast dismantling into a little bag with the charming purple embroidered sheep logo. I'm very glad that I never bought a swift before.
