The Kromski Minstrel is created by the Kromskis of Poland, is setting a new standard for castle style wheels. It features a wide, steady base for the double treadle operation and the wheel, which is larger than many upright wheels - 18". It comes with 3 bobbins, also includes threading hook, attached Lazy Kate and bottle of spinning wheel oil. Larger than the Kromski Mazurka, The Minstrel has stronger, bolder lines and a larger base to accommodate the larger wheel diameter and the double treadles. It is a double drive wheel but comes standard with Scotch tension set-up if your prefer the single drive feel. A threading hook and extra whorl are conveniently stored up front for easy access. Lovely wheel! April 11, 2009 Reviewer: Leigh E from Sequim, WA United States   This wheel spins like a dream from the minute it was assembled. Smooth double treadle makes spinning for long periods easy and non-tiring. The treadles are very responsive and easier to use than some other brands/models I tried. I am impressed with the ease of use as well as the beauty of the woodwork. I've been able to spin all different weights of yarn with no problems. A fantastic value! Was this review helpful to you?
