Excellent needle set |

I called on a Saturday a week before leaving on a trip and hoped to have these for my trip. Whoever answered my numerous emails and voicemails was wonderful! She got the order changed and this set in the mail immediately. I got the kit in time to enjoy it in the long car trip.
The kit is wonderful - very smooth joins and needles - a sensual knitting experience, indeed! The cables don't have too much memory and swivel, so that is a joy. I adored the larger needles - they are a bit longer and fit my hand better. The smaller sizes (5 - 10 1/2) are a bit shorter. If the entire set had the longer needles, I would say this is the best kit I have ever experienced. My hands get a little fatigued with the smaller, shorter needles. I suspect that was to keep the smaller circular sizes working well.
I still love this set, though. The joins are beautifully milled and the quality is high.

KA Switch |

I ordered a set of KA interchangeable needles for a Christmas gift to myself. I absolutely love them. I've only been knitting for a few years, and went from straight needles to a Denise system, but missed the feel of bamboo. I use circular needles almost exclusively, even socks. The KA needles are fabulous. I'd recommend them to anyone!

KA interchangables |

The finest bamboo - like butter to knit with. The join - no problem. The end caps - can we say precision engineering. the cords are soft - not all hard and squirrelly like other bamboo sets. What sets them apart is that the cords squivel at the end of the joins. the don't get twist your work. The case is fabulous. It doesn't look like much in the picture but they are all in there - the needles in seperate places and the cords go in a pocket in the back. velcro closes everything up tight. It is light weight and small enough to carry in your purse - about the size of a makeup bag. I used them at knit club last night and we also all Denise converts but everyone loved these. If you can't buy both sets, choose these.
