Austermann Step Duett Sock Yarn  The newest addition to the Step family! Step Duett features a collection of 8 matching colorways (16 colors in all), which were dyed to compliment each other. The matching colorways are 50/51, 52/53, 54/55, 56/57, 58/59, 60/61, 62/63 and 64/65.

Like our basic Step, Step Duett is also fused with Aloe Vera and Jojoba oil when spun, resulting in one of the softest and sensational sock yarns in the industry! The Step line will soften your hands when knitting, and soften your feet when wearing. The Aloe Vera and Jojoba oil will last for roughly 40 machine washes.

Austermann Sock Yarn is 75% Superwash Virgin Wool and 25% Nylon.  This magical Austermann Step sock yarn makes a soft and wonderful sock in new colors!  Many of the Austermann Step colors are well suited for men as well as women and so comfortable. Use a US #1 - US #3 needle for knitting.

Jojoba The oil of the Jojoba bush fruit is not a vegetable oil, but a high-quality liquid wax. It protects the skin against dryness without leaving behind a greasy film because it is completely absorbed by the skin. Jojoba oil can reduce inflammation, improve cell regeneration and calm the skin. It improves the elasticity of the skin and provides a comfortably fresh feeling. In addition, the numerous active substances carry vitamin A, E and F, amino acids as well as unsaturated fatty acids. Aloe Vera especially in the wellness and in some medical areas, has successfully been used.
