Description   This worsted weight yarn is undyed.  Mountain Meadows Worsted Weight yarn is a 2 ply yarn with 140 yards.  It is 3.5 oz.  Get creative with some dye or leave it natural.  Either way it is absolutely gorgeous! Please note- This yarn is not good for felting and will probably survive quite nicely in a trip through the washing machine.   Features Mountain Meadow Wool Mill is located at the foot of the Big Horn Mountains in Buffalo, Wyoming. Our area is rich in western history, from Indian wars and outlaws to cattlemen and sheepherders. Our fiber factory begins in Wyoming’s rugged mountain climate. Because it is so fine, Mountain Meadow Wool is silky soft to the touch, insulates much better, breathes far more effectively, and feels delightful next to your skin. Each year, we procure the best fiber from the best growers in the West. We then process it at our own fiber mill where it is transformed into extraordinary roving and yarns. Mountain Meadow Wool is dedicated to the preservation of the open spaces of the West. Fibers for our roving and yarn are washed and spun with citrus/vegetable-based soaps and oils rather than petroleum-based products. No chemicals are used to bleach, shrinkproof or mothproof the yarn.
