We're so excited to have Mary Scott Huff come teach at our shop! We've been drooling over her new book 'The New Stranded Colorwork' from Interweave Press. Love the beautiful stranded colorwork mittens from Norways Selbu knitting tradition? Who doesn't! Join us for Mary Scott Huff's mitten workshop, to learn the basic elements of this traditional style while creating your very own, very Sassy Selbuvotter. Class participants will work with Mary's exclusive 'Queen of Hearts' pattern.
Items needed 3-5 colors of your favorite smooth DK weight yarn (50 gram balls) and circular or DPN in sizes to achieve gauge of 6 sts/in, plus additional set 2 sizes smaller.
Skills required- This class is suitable for strong beginners and intermediate knitters with experience making mittens or socks in the round.
Come join us for a
lovely morning of knitting and friends. Snacks will be provided.
