Tips for not overspinning your yarn

You're probably working too hard at it! Relax, and lighten your grip. Try these tips: Slow your treadling Tighten your brake band, if using Scotch tension Let your yarn wind on the bobbin sooner Plying your singles will help untwist it a bit Blocking your finished product will help somewhat If the yarn is too overtwisted, your knitting will slant! Highly twisted yarn will make good warp yarn, however. Impress your friends with the strength of your handspun!
