This Angora is from the GERMAN GIANT breed with 3-5inch staple! All Realtai fiber comes from individual animals and isn't grouped like the large growers offering small batches & great quality! Our friends here in Spokane raise these magnificent creatures with love and attention producing some of the finest Angora Rabbit fiber we've seen, it's awesome! At Tearmann Realtai Farm they raise pure bred German Giant and English Angora rabbits for their fine wool.  Every morning, Terri combs and brushes all the English Angoras, insuring clean, felt-free wool in the distinctive blue, charcoal, silver and white fur the English produce for us.  From Blue Moon to Silver Streak, all 6 of our English Angoras produce top quality, felt free wool.

Our German Giant Angoras were our first rabbits.  They are pure bred with certified papers.  Our doe is Athena and our bucks are Zeus and Thor.  All three of them produce  12 to 16 ounces each of their pure, white, completely felt free wool.  We are very proud of them and the beauty they bring to our rabbitry.

All of the rabbits are hand sheared, insuring  lengths of 2 to 4 inches, occasionally getting to 5+ inches.  Virtually felt free, our wools will be a joy for your spinning craft and will yield the most luscious yarn you’ve ever produced.  Supplies are limited on this fiber as it comes from such a small farm.
