Description Technical Specs   Windwools Pacific Palette Fiordland 500g The Windwools rovings are very much like the Rhapsody Hand Painted Roving we offer but with a different color pallette as you'll see.  The rovings are hand painted by Elspeth Wilkinson, with each dye pot yeilding unique and individual colors.  The Windwools Pacific Pallette are very unique and are imported from New Zealand.  Windwools are made from the finest 32 Micron fine New Zealand Romney Wool and is one of our highest quality hand dyed products.   Features This Beautiful range of sliver using selected 32 micron finest New Zealand Romney wool is the latest offering from Windwools. Our Pacific Palette is spectacuraly individual as colours are hand dyed by Elspeth Wilkinson, with each dye pot yielding unique and individual colours. Windwools is a company that is small, friendly and personal situated in the Bay of plenty in New Zealand. We have four partners, John and Mary McTavish and Glynis and Owen Poad. Over a period of many years of association with the fibre world, we have come into contact with some exceptional artists, fibre designers and fibre products. It is our aim to bring the best that are available in New Zealand and place them before those who are interested in superior products. New Zealand wools are generally finer for each particular sheep breed than those available in other countries. Our climate is damper than many countries and we do not have the dust and seed problems that can be encountered elsewhere. Our wools are therefore excellent for blending with other fibres, opossum is an example.
