Description   This yarn is created locally for us by our friend Kathleen Cullen and her oh so soft Baby Alpacas. This yarn is processed mildly and doesn't go through an acid bath like most other yarns and leaves it with more natural softness. Made up of 90% Baby Suri Alpaca and 10% Superfine 15 micron Merino Wool makes this yarn perfect for hats and other garments where you need some memory. My hat Sara made me with the Misti Alpaca 100% Alpaca is very soft and I love it but...it kind of flopped out after about a week as Alpaca by itself needs some merino wool for memory. This yarn does the trick and won't flop out like 100% Alpaca rest assured. The Merino that is in this yarn is superfine certified and absolutely magnificent!
